I read one (that I have mentioned before) about some girl who showed up at Fowl Manor in a orange bath towel.......I didn't like it much.

There was another one about Artemis going crazy. He killed his mother, father, and Butler with a wine opener thingy( I think)......well the point is that Artemis could never kill Butler with a wine opener thingy just like that. Maybe while he's sleeping but.....

I just don't see it happening...do you? 'Course ya don't. Tongue

Hmmm... I think you have mentioned the bath-towel fic before. I've read the fic... what a horrible sue. And... killed butler with a wine opener thingy... ??? What has ff.net come to? And it's called a cork-screw.

There's one on the first page of AF... It's called 'Fall of the Fowls' it's by someone named D.j. kiD or something like that (and reviewed, in all seriousness, by him while logged in).

Read it and be confused, then incredulous, then weep.

Its problems aren't with Mary Sue and her numerous cousins in revealing bathrobes, but with general lack of anything resembling an ability to string a sentence together, let alone a story.

Poor Blue. Reading that fic un-warned of the perils of un-punctuation-ness and bad grammar... no mary sue though... if there were any Mary-Sues, I doubt you would have survived reading that fic.

I can't remeber the link, author, or even the title, but I once read something.... possibly the worst fic over the vast plains of ff.net... There was a Mary-sue, of a name to long to remeber. She kidnapped arty, butler, juliet and Holly (for reasons unknown. It is also unknown why Holly was there in the first place) and tortured them for a while. It was way back on pg 25 or something.

If I could find the link, I would win.

The saddest part was that some people said it was GOOD. (not to mention he reviewed it and complimented it himself SAD-NOSITY) Kinda deflates you, knowing that fics like that get praise as well.

Oh dear. I can see the MST's already...

Summary:: At the Fowl Manor, in Dublin, Ireland, a new English maid is sent to work there. What if..what if..that new “maid” just happens to be an undercover agent/assassin?

Butler: I am insulted. We do not need a maid. I have full faith in my housekeeping abilities.
Artemis: Plus undercover agents don't dust well.

And what if Artemis falls in love with her??

Artemis: I think I am going to be sick.
Butler: What does R n R plzzz! mean?
Artemis: It must be some sort of code...

Rated:: R, maybe PG-13, for..umm..suggestive ideas?..yeah you get the hint. ((hopefully)) and mild language ((heh heh))

Agghh. I cannot stand it anymore. ArtemisfreakingFowl does not fall in love that freaking easily. In my mind it does not happen that quickly. It's going to take at least a couple of years for him to like a new character.....that isn't a MS. And, the boy doesn't have a nice body! Angry

I read one yesterday. It wasn't that bad

People who make him out of character......they are usually pretty serious about the character.
