When will the nominees be announced?
The nominations list is available
even before nomination has closed. If you are interested
in seeing previous years nominations, the 2001-2005 Orion Awards
nominations are listed here. We will make every effort to contact all the nominees when nomination closes.
How will the results be announced?
When the shortlists are decided, we will announce the categories in
groups of two or three every day, on the Orion Awards website and forums.
Winners will be announced similarly. Consult the
schedule for dates.
Can I get automatic notification of the Orion news?
You can mark the Announcements board for Notification and you will be
emailed when we post there, or you can subscribe to the RSS
feed.
What are the prizes for People's Choice?
All fics in the PC categories, including Nominees, Shortlisters, and
Winners, will be linked to and listed on the Orion Awards website. Prizes
for the Shortlisters, Winners, and PC Overall Award Winners are as
follows:

What are the prizes for the Orions?
All entries, including nominations, will be listed on the Orion Awards
site and linked to. Prizes for Shortlisters, Winners, and the Winner of
the Best Overall Orion Award are as follows:

- Banners (200x100)
- Winner
- Gold buttons
- Banners (300x200)
- Plaques
- Archival of the fanfics on the Orion web site
- Overall
- All Winner prizes (listed above)
- Option of fanart
Note: all of these prizes are made by the Orion Awards Staff so they cannot be found anywhere else.
We will be emailing the winners zip files containing the prizes as soon as possible after the announcement, ideally within a few days. Please upload them to your own server (or an image hosting site) and link to them there.
