Privacy Policy

• The Orion Awards Staff will respect the privacy of all users and authors.
• At the Orion Awards, all users are expected to respect the privacy of all involved, including other users, fanfiction authors, judges, etc.
• Contact information will not be disclosed without permission.
• Using contact information displayed on this site with hateful intent (such as persecution, spam, hate mail, or any type of abuse) will not be permitted.
• Upon registration in the forums, users are asked for their email address, which must be given for the user to receive their password and log in. Also, the Orion Awards Staff will send users notices and news updates concerning the Awards and the website through their given emails.
• Users can hide their emails from the general public if they so wish. The forum administrator will be able to see the emails of all users, however.
• IP Addresses of forum members are recorded for security reasons. Only Moderators and Administrators can see them and they may use IP Addresses to prevent abuse and to ban members if necessary.
• IP Addresses will be recorded to prevent the abuse of our nominations and contact forms.
• The Orion Awards Staff reserves the right to ban a user from the site if it is confirmed that said user has been using another member's contact information in a harmful way.
